Party with a Purpose: Richmond
When:
Saturday, September 30th, 2006 @ 1:00-4:30pm
Where:
Hugh Boyd Seconday School, 9200 No. 1 Road (No.1 and Francis, Richmond, British Columbia)
Why:
Presenting Project Equity's first event in Western Canada: Party with a Purpose Richmond. This event is designed to promote global youth empowerment and to get youth involved in their community. Today's perspective of teens are that we are uncaring, incapable and irresponsible. We're here to defeat that. To show that youth care, we will be providing volunteer opportunities to students. There will be speakers on a variety of topics to send the message to Richmond -- and ultimately, the entire world. We, as youths and as ambassadors for the world, have the ability to accomplish anything. All we need is that apt opportunity. And that opportunity is here.
There will also be games, refreshments, and a live concert.
Suggested Admission: $5 for Canadian Gene Cure Foundation - jeansforgenes
