Project Overnight Hope
Project Equity’s current initiative, Project: Overnight Hope, is specifically designed for high school students. By running an extremely exciting event at your school, you can also help out in one of the most amazing charitable projects happening in India.
What we're doing
One of our members created an event for high schools that not only raises money but is fun to run as well. It’s kind of crazy but we promise it will be one of the most memorable high school experiences you will ever have. The following is a letter by the organizer.
As well, help is always needed in other ways. E-mail us or give us a call and we’ll be sure to find a spot for you on our team!

Who we're helping
Money raised from this event will go towards MSMF, a registered Canadian charity, and the inspiration for CBC documentary, A Ray of Light. Since 1989 MSMF has been working on the ground in southern India, providing free education to youth. For most, this is their ticket out of poverty. These kids who normally wouldn't have a chance do what they want in life suddenly are given opportunity through education. MSMF also runs a cataract eye clinic in southern India. This is vital since over 30 million Indians are blind due to cataracts from working in the sun all day. Fortunetly, cataracts are easily corrected with a small surgery. MSMF literally gives people back the sight they once had through these clinics. For more information you can visit their website at www.msmf.ca or email us mail@projectequity.org
